Let me first say that I am really sad about selling this truck. I really love it. But I recently took the dive and bought a dedicated trail rig and I need a tow rig.

So on to the LX. It is currently located in Houston, Texas. I bought this in October 2011 from a guy in Atlanta, GA who bought it from the original owner in Charleston, SC. The Atlanta guy is a flipper, so he kept it for a bit and then put it up for sale on Craigslist. My brother (DanKunz) checked it out and I bought it. It had 120,xxx miles on it.

The truck had all dealer service on schedule when I bought it, including the “big service” (and I’ll try to find the receipts). Since then, I’ve changed the oil, fluids, etc. on schedule. I also put front brakes on it last year. The windshield is new this year after a rock chip turned into a big crack.
Once I bought the truck, I immediately sent it to ACC in Atlanta to have some work done. This is the list and I have the receipt (to the tune of $6,200):

Tires
5 - Dura-Trac Wranglers 285/75/16

Front Suspension (Iron Man)
Shocks
Torsion bars
Control arm reinforcements

Diff Drop
Slee diff drop
Rear suspension (Iron Man)

Shocks
Springs TOYO13B
Front Bumper

Iron Man
Iron Man winch
Sliders

Metal Tech sliders
Remove AHC Components

Other
Inner CV boot clamps

After all the work was done, my dad drove the truck to Houston from Atlanta around Christmas of 2011. Since then, I’ve wheeled it mildly, but mostly it’s been a DD. I have a whopping 6 mile commute to work, so I haven’t put many miles on it in the past 2 ½ years. It does have some pinstriping and a dent on the roofline from where I scraped up against a tree. The glass in the rear window did not break and the seal is intact. It is missing one wheel cover from rock rub. The tires are still in great shape, and have a long ways left on them.

The interior is in good shape for its age. The leather on the driver seat is cracking a bit, but not bad. I have the third row seats, and they will come with it. There are some stains on the carpets here and there, but mostly normal wear and tear. I will detail the truck before delivery to make sure all the West Texas grime is removed from the last camping trip! It's a great family wheeling and camping rig!

Here are a few pictures, but I'll need to take some of the interior, etc. The first one is right after ACC finished the upgrades. Then wheeling at Katemcy, then a picture of the dent.

I am asking $18,500. Please email me at k9crazy at bellsouth dot net or PM me with questions or with interest.

A few more things I thought of...

Equipped with Sirrus Radio and can be activated whenever
Also has a Parrot Bluetooth aftermarket hands free phone installed
Comes with the upgraded Mark Levinson stereo with 6 disc changer (I'll throw in the cassette mp3 connector for free!)
I ordered a new wheel center cap so that will be replaced before a sale

I still need to take more pictures but want to have it detailed before I do.

I think the reason you're not getting any response here is that the price is a premium price despite the fact it has significant body damage that would cost a lot of $$ to fix. Also you're going to need lots of good quality interior pictures especially if the leather is cracking. I may have missed it but I read through a couple times and didn't see how many miles it has now (just that it had 120k on it when you bought it which isn't as relevant as the current mileage) or if the timing belt has been done. Lots of info missing for the serious buyer FWIW.

Thanks for the feedback.

It has 137,xxx miles on it. I thought I added that in, but guess I didn't.
As for the timing belt, it's been done and thought that "the big service" would have covered it, but I guess not.
The only think wrong with the truck is the dent. And frankly, if someone is going to wheel this, it will sustain more damage and that's why I didn't have it fixed. Also the picture I added probably wasn't the best as it looks bigger than it is. Here is another that puts it in perspective.

Oh, and I am going to take some interior pics, but I have been out of town and am leaving again tomorrow morning, so it will be Friday before I get them up.

Looks like a great setup. Don't take this the wrong way, but that dent looks serious in both pictures. I'd consider getting it fixed or taking the cost of repair out of the price the truck is worth without the dent.

bump for a clean, well cared for rig. have seen it in person recently, the dent isn't as bad as the pics show and the pics really don't do it justice.

This rig rocks.. Looks perfect with a tray of Oysters on the tailgate ;)

And I have the third row seats and they are in perfect condition. I just have them out of the truck to haul my daughter's softball stuff. I'll put them in and take another picture.

Wow, wish it would have been for sale back in Feb....pass by your truck all the time, you live on my Chief's street and my folks live in SS Place.

I had no idea! Next time you drive by, stop and say hi!
