My IS has about 104k and is in excelent working order but recently I have noticed that the automatic transmission sometimes does an odd, what feels like seaching for gears, for a slight second while just cruising down the road around 40mph or so. Is usually when there is no modulation on the accelerator or hills etc. Trans fluid has been changed as specified and is at the right level.
Think I should take it to Lexus instead of my mechanic and have the computer flashed or something? I would love to find out what is going on before it does become an $ issue. Hoping to get at least 200k out of her.
