2002 Ford Focus (around Des Moines IA)
I'll probably get a load of crap for posting this but what they hay!
02 Focus, 5 spd manual, power windows, locks, and mirrors. AM/FM CD. Silver with gray cloth interior. roughly 62,500 miles on it. Good gas mileage (Save your $ for the Cruiser project!) newer tires, brand new battery.
Known issues: The big one is that the speedometer is acting up. It bounces around, drops to zero, comes back and works for a while, freaks out again.
The Vehicle Speed sensor has been replaced by a local ford dealer (horrible customer service, didn't fix or troubleshoot the issue. still after them about this issue). I'd also read that an old battery may cause similiar issues, so it has a brand new battery. Still unresolved.
Rock chip on hood and a ding on the passengers side front fender from where my mountain bike fell over in the garage and hit the car.
I'm asking $4750 as it sets. I plan to take it in again (to a different repair place) and have the speedometer issue diagnosed and possibley resolved. Depends on what it would cost me out of pocket.
