2002 4R Sunroof won't open or tilt any longer (1 Viewer)

Noticed that the sunroof will not open or tilt any longer. It moves a hair but stops immediately.

Don't know what it could be. is the sunroof mechanism worn out or switch bad or ???

what's the seal on the glass look like?
these shrink up and allow water to get to the motor/switch area and smoke them.

The seal looks pretty good. I didnt see any cracks.

When I press the button either way it clicks and moves 1/16"

it's hard saying over the internet. might be worth pulling the switch panel down for inspection. if it's moving at all, the switch is probably ok.
