Richard my 99 LC clunked from drive to reverse so did one of my 2004's, it's just slack in the driveline. Grease the 6 grease fittings every 5k like your doing. Don't buy any problems you don't have.

Strongly agree. As a matter of fact I think my 98 did it from new.

Thanks for the reply. I had a 99 LC that was totaled and never had any issues. I did stop in at the local kennedy transmission shop in Fargo. The owner took it for a test drive and said the same thing.
