I have a 2001 highly modified Toyota Tundra Limited for sale. The price is $20,000.00 and this is what you get for that kind of money.
  • A 2001 Tundra Limited Edition Access Cab pickup having all the limited editions amenities plus an alarm system, X-lined bed and an Amsoil dual oil filtration unit.
  • The front has a solid axle from a 76 Ford, which is a HP Dana 44 and has 4:56 gears, ARB locker, Warn Alloy Inner and outer axle shafts, CTM U-joints and Warn hubs.
  • The front leaf springs are 6" BDS.
  • Steering is hydro-assist hy-steer using a Red Neck Ram and a modified 1990 Toyota pickup steering box. It also has a power steering cooler and a Howe power steering reservoir w/filter.
  • The Transfer Case is a manual twin stick mated to a 4.7 Marlin Crawler box giving the Tundra a crawl ratio of 308 to 1. (Transfer case is from a Taco V-6) This was and still is the only Tundra with a Marlin Crawler.
  • The rear axle is a Y-4Link using Rubicon Express Super-Flex Joints, 6" Skyjacker coils and 12" Fox shocks. The rear axle shafts are still stock but with 4:56 gears and an ARB locker.
  • The frame is re-enforced with 1/4" steel plate.
  • 2" tube sliders are welded to the 1/4" steel plate.
  • Transmission and transfer case skid plate.
  • Front Bumper is an ARB with a 10K Warn winch with 125' of 3/8" poly line.
  • Rear bumper is fabbed from 3/16" tubing and bolted to the frame and has a detachable drop bumper making it legal in all States.
  • The gas tank had to be removed for the 4-link so there is a 35-gallon fuel cell mounted in the bed of the truck.
  • Tires are 35” BFG AT’s and have over 90% tread left.
  • CB installed.

The interior is in excellent shape, no tears, rips or stains. The body is in good shape with no rust but is pinstriped and has a few very minor dings, which aren’t readily noticeable. The odometer reads 113K. This Tundra is one of a kind has done the Rubicon from both ends, trails in Arizona (pinstriping), Colorado, Moab, New Mexico and California. It handles itself very well in the rocks and climbs like a goat.
The reason I’m selling this puppy is because at the moment I have two testosterone (the T thing) looking vehicles in my driveway and one has to go. The other is Slee’s Ole School Bus. I’ve got that for sale also at $20K. I thought I had the Tonka Toy sold last December when I purchased the “bus”, but s*** happens as they say and now I’m advertising two very good off-road vehicles. I'll keep whatever doesn't sell. Anyone interested and wants pictures just e-mail me at jmj@cableone.net and I’ll send whatever pictures you desire.
