I love this truck and always thought I would keep it for the next 15 years. It glides down the freeway and the DT headers make it feel even more solid. But I can’t swing the two vehicle thing right now and will be driving a lot more next year for work. In the 4 years that I’ve owned it, I’ve put on mainly highway miles driving to Orange County (surfing) and LA on the weekends. It’s listed at $13,900.

This is basically what I put in the Autotrader ad: 2001 Toyota Land Cruiser V8 4WD in great condition. Runs and drives excellent. I had Doug Thorley headers installed earlier this year. I just couldn’t take the ticking noise anymore. It has newer brakes, new thermostat, new plastic window switches ($575), timing belt has 30k left, heavy duty battery 1 year old, mp3 adapter (wired for subwoofer), brush guards, new wipers, non-smoker, no tears in the leather, tow package, 3rd row seating, and a clean Carfax. Also has KN drop in air filter and Michelin LTX M/S2 285/75/16 tires (40K left on them). There are some light surface scratches and a couple of dings, as expected for an 01.

The AC, cruise and heated seats work great. Front windows have light window tint. Just renewed registration in December 2013 and the truck was smogged. The only issue is the Nav unit went black, the touch screen and everything still works for the radio etc, it’s just the screen is just dark when set to Nav. Mileage is 170,252 and it’s black with beige interior.

It’s listed on Autotrader for $13,900. Link to the ad is here: http://www.autotrader.com/cars-for-...d=68697591&searchRadius=0&listingId=361375352

PS Regarding the DT headers, they definitely make the truck feel like it’s half its age. I doubt it will improve the 0-60 or quarter mile times much, but it runs stronger and accelerates with more of a punch, especially 25-70mph. It rumbles more, about 1/3 of what an average (not obnoxious) aftermarket exhaust would sound like. Occasionally I find myself sitting at a traffic light with the radio off and thinking “oh that’s me” and smile.

Price lowered to $13,495. I received a couple calls but no strong interest. Seems to be priced competitively here in SoCal. Any suggestions or input would be welcome. Thanks.

My input is you should trade me for my Cherokee so you'll have extra christmas cash ;)

I think you've got a really clean truck priced right where it should be although the SUV market is a tight right now. :frown:

GLWS, happy holidays! :)

Thanks for the response ChiTown! Makes sense. Hopefully things pick up after Christmas. Cheers!
