I went to test drive this vehicle this weekend and I have to say it is awesome. I decided that the added luxury and power of a 2006/2007 100 series is worth the extra money so I am passing for that reason only. This is a great option for someone who wants to save on a bunch of mods that were done by a reputable shop and an overall well maintained cruiser with low miles for its age. The OP is clearly very knowledgeable and is a super nice guy. Everything he's done to the car is thoughtful and well executed. The custom stereo sounds awesome. The wheels, tires, and lift look amazing in person. There are a few imperfections in the paint - consistent with its age - but overall it looks stunning. The interior is also in great shape. The only issues are those already disclosed (e.g. broken sunroof) and a broken power window switch (rear driver side) we discovered (easy fix.) We are selling our BMW 335i and replacing it with a 100 series because neither my wife and I have to drive to work anymore, so we can throw gas mileage and practicality out the window to an extent. If we were looking for a second car to be more recreation-oriented, then I wouldn't hesitate to buy this one.

Sweet rig, if only I could sell my 80....

I wish. I would like to check out this rig, but unfortunately I would be more of a tire kicker at this point.

I’m local. Maybe this weekend if you’re free.
