Not sure if any of you guys would be interested in this little beauty but I have it that I'm trying to get rid of so I can get to North Dakota. Here are the details

2001 Honda CRV AWD EX
103xxx Miles
5 Speed
2.0L 4 Cylinder B20 (Guess it's the one with higher compression that the import guys want)
Power Windows, Locks, and Mirrors
Runs great, starts great, been sitting over the winter at my friends shop so it got driven in and out everyday
Everything from the block up has been replaced, When I got it there was no compression in the #4 Cylinder and upon removal of the head two of the intake valves were burnt out. Head was taken to my machine shop, new valves were installed and head was gone through. After that all Honda parts were used.
New Head Gasket
New Timing Belt
New Water Pump
New Valve Cover Gasket
Tires are New Less than 1000 Miles ago
Rear differential was just drained and serviced with Dual Pump Fluid ($10 a quart at cost)
Rear driveshaft was checked for play and is perfect
Brakes have over half the pad left, rotors are a tad rusty but cleared up some on the 30 miles I had it out on the road
No Check engine lights
No ABS Lights
To my knowledge it needs nothing more, anything it needed when I got it this past fall was fixed, mainly the big skip it had when I got it
Valves were adjusted at the same time everything else was done, only a half hour operation but they recommend them doing it every 30K
The timing belt interval is 105K and that's done, the rear diff interval is 60K and that is done, New coolant and oil, Air conditioning works amazingly well, heat is hot, it gets close to 30MPG depending on how you drive, but I'd suspect getting in the 27 range on the highway going 75, clutch engages smooth and transmission shifts perfect. Has no knocks, or ticks, or rattles
Exterior condition isn't the greatest, no body damage to speak of, just scratches from the previous owners children , one spot of rust poking through above passenger rear wheel arch, could be remedied quickly or if leaving this climate nothing to worry about, not rusty underneath
Clean Title, Bunch of Honda receipts for the recent parts

Car is Located in Syracuse NY 315-882-2439 Call or text anytime
I'm just running out of options, nobody up here has the money or else they don't want a reliable gas saving AWD, I just don't understand
I'm asking 6600 Locally and I'm looking to deal, Thought this was a fair starting point after looking around, and checking out KBB and others, Trades are welcome as well if any of you guys want go that way to trade a 12MPG Cruiser for a 25+ MPG Small SUV
I would take this to North Dakota but I don't feel like sleeping in this when I could have something much bigger
And if you know anyone who is looking let them know as well, I'd really appreciate it and if your lead sells this car FREE 100 Bucks for you!!! I know it's not much but I guess it's something, I'm just not good at selling this car and I am pulling out all the stops

Wow I can't get any action on this car any place I put it, it's been for sale for 8 months, has been fully serviced from the block up, with Honda parts and new tires with AWD and nothing? Can people really not be bothered with driving a standard shift any longer? The only response I received this week was asking if I had the allow wheels for it!! Time for the crusher

If youve had it up for sale for 8 months with zero interest, that is a tell tale sign that its priced too high....waaaay too high. Just sayin

I've had the price down to 5000 for a couple months with no action, then I raised it to over 8000 and had a couple bites, doesn't make any sense? It's priced below trade in and way below private party, it's right in the middle of what others are asking, and 7500 for a liberty isn't? They are a hot item here for some reason and they move fast but a Honda won't for less money?

You are that guy on this forum, now I get it, tell everyone their vehicles aren't worth anything because you see auction prices all day long, that's not something most of us are privileged to, good job you get to buy things that New car dealers take in cheap because they don't want to be bothered, I guarantee if you had this same truck on your lot you'd be asking a lot more, Retail is over 10K, and it gets high 20's MPG, you'd be digging every dollar you could out of it and probably finance the poor people so you could have them on the hook for 5 years and make even more money, so stay off my listing unless you have something intelligent to say, which I haven't seen yet on the Excursion Diesel posting or the 02 Land Cruiser that you told them they were asking too much as well.

nice CRV

This is just what I'm looking for but the price is about 2k too high for me. :crybaby:

How much are you looking to spend? I'm ready to make some sort of deal on this

I'm looking to spend 3-4k. I'm in Ithaca. I have a complete parts 60 and 62 if you want to do some trading. Rusty bodies but good internals. The 60 ran strong last time I started her but needs a front axle overhaul. Going to swap in new fluids and start her up this week. Would make a good parts vehicle.

This is a nice little SUV with to me a more desirable transmission. Good luck man. Great commuter for us northeast folks.

I thought it was a fair price for a fuel efficient all wheel drive in this climate, it's priced around trade in value so it would sell, guess not haha, with all the work I did to it as well, time to junk it I guess, maybe the economy is that bad in this city, I bet if I was a dealer with 9000 on it and bad / no credit financing it would be gone already

Price reduction 6300 or best offer, be reasonable please I'm not giving it away but I'd like to move on with my life and this is sticking it to me, it's way below book, it's rust free, needs nothing
