I'm scheduled to look at it tomorrow. If I pass on it, I'll post up some details in case someone is interested.
Thanks, I was just in Portland this past weekend too, and I have wanted ads in CL that apparently the seller never saw. :bang:

There is a really nice 2006 Land Cruiser with ~ 122K miles on it listed in Autotrader, but I've been trying to get a hold of the private seller for two weeks now with no response. The 2006 L/C is located down near Salem, which is about an hour south of Portland. It seems that most of the better deals up here in the Portland area go fairly quickly...

I've been trying the number at random times for over 2 months, never an answer. Also tried to contact through Auto Trader, but no response that way either. I think it must be a bogus ad at this point...

Not mine but thought it might be a great deal for someone in the market. Don't know if it's locked or not but something tells me it will go fast:

Toyota Land Cruiser
I was trying to figure out why this was not showing up in my searches (I've been looking for one like this for months). It's listed under "books & magazines - by owner" - and hear I've only been looking under "cars and trucks" :P

Curious to see what tlcruzr things. I'd like to take a look at it soon...

I ended up purchasing this LC after some wheeling-and-dealing; finally got the seller to accept $7500.00 cash. The LC is in pretty good shape, with some normal wear and tear typical of a 16 year old vehicle. There was one small ding on the left side, and the interior trim pieces (faux wood) are starting to bubble up in a couple of places. Overall, I am very excited to add this low mileage (117K) UZJ-100 to my garage. As an added bonus, the owner had all of the major maintenance receipts still in his possession. I will post up some pictures once I get a chance to go through and detail the rig.

Nice find/buy!

That sounds like it was a great buy, with lots of room left in the price for any maintenance that may be needed.
I looked at one in Bend last week for 3 grand more, lots more miles and a bad drivetrain growl.
