Selling Points: If you are looking for a well maintained truck with a known history (no auto auction!), take a look at this one. I am the second owner of this Tundra, and it is in great shape. I bought it from a Toyota dealer (new truck trade) in summer '05 and now need the garage space. The previous owner left maintenance records and his number. In October 2005 I had a new Century fiberglass cap installed, with sliding front window, light, heavy duty sealer, and dual locks. The cap is like new. The truck has a class 2 receiver hitch installed by the previous owner just before sold it. He told me he only pulled a log splitter; I've only pulled a small utility trailer. All the owner's manuals are included, as is a repair manual. I have the original window sticker. The truck has a Toyota bedliner. This truck has been well cared for and will run a long time. The paint is in good condition, but does have some scratches, and a small dent on the bed sidewall, driver's side.
Condition: The truck is in great condition, and has been very well maintained, with regular oil changes and the factory recommended 30/60/90 mile services (I have service records). At 95K I had a Toyota dealer replace the timing belt (and related components), water pump, drive belt, and drive belt tensoner, all as preventative maintenance Toyota recommends (a broken timing belt could damage the engine). This is a $800 service, and many trucks for sale at this number of miles have not had it done (I remember this from when I was looking at trucks). I've also replaced the spark plugs, fuel filter, air filter, battery and had the transmission flushed all in the last 10K miles. I greased the various drivetrain fittings, and checked fluids. Brakes were inspected and are in good shape. The parking brake is used regularly and works well (often these freeze up from lack of use).
