Hey y'all!

I have a 100 Series (2000 | LHD | 4.7L V8) Toyota Land Cruiser that suffered from rust-related things before it made it to me, and I have a leaking rear-brake hardline (the blue 'x-mark' near the left/driver-side rear tire is where the leak is happening). I'm having trouble determining the best solution in terms of [hopefully] not dropping the gas tank and what exact parts I need. I believe I need brake lines #2 and #4 OR #7 (I have printed off the parts model for the brake lines and written the part numbers (and their substitution part numbers on the image I pasted below):

It looks like there's an option for a part that is one long replacement, and there's an option where there are multiple parts.

Here is a link to PartSouq that shows the same part diagram.

My questions:
1. How do I know if I need the one-piece solution, or if I can use the segmented parts? (I entered my VIN into Toyota Dealership Websites and PartSouq and it seems like I can do either option since it says both fit my specific vehicle).
2. Can I make my own lines [instead of buying the hard-line OEM replacements] using flexible hoses similar to SLEE Brake Line Kit?
3. Are there other parts I should replace while I do this?

If any additional information is needed (or I need to share my VIN, let me know and I will message it directly).

Thank you for your time and help!
