For Sale 2000 LX470

In the process of buying a 2000 LX470 with less than 90k miles on it for 10k. Anything I should know before I pull the trigger ?

• Check if the heaters Ts on back firewall have been replaced. Common failure mode which will leave you stranded with no coolant and overheated engine.
• Check to see the AHC is working well. From L to H the fluid should move 5-7 indentations on the reservoir bottle.
• There are many other things to check about the AHC, globes, accumulator, etc
• Check to see if timing belt and water pump has been replaced. You mentioned 90k miles, I think it's due.
• Check rear portion of frame for rust or frame in general.
• Check if the 3rd brake light is causing the bottom of the upper tailgate to rust.
• ...

AHC works , no engine light on but VSC TRAC and VSC OFF light is on, also abs, E brake works but light is on too. The car runs smooth and the Leather has no tears ! In Texas only so I doubt there is rust but I have to get it on the lift.
