2000 LX470-$12k???

So my younger Bro is looking at a 2000 LX470.

-147k on the clock
-new tires ( stock sized BFG KO)
-TBelt is newish (replaced once)
-AHC has been "disconnected" per the PO.
-OME Springs, KYB (?) shocks, LC

Truck is for sale at a local lot, but another board member was able to help me track down the PO, who provided solid Maintenance records.

Any thoughts?

That sounds like a good price based on what I'm seeing here in Nashville. Obviously depends on condition - is the interior in good shape?

pretty good. Leather is in good shape for 15 years. Wood grain has been replaced somewhere along the way. I'm about to go drive it with him and really take a close look at everything

the miles and the condition you mention 12k is a good price.

I paid 10.5 for my 2000 with 189k on the clock and a perfect Carfax.
My truck needs new tires, everything else works as it should, ahc is good.
12k sounds good, I would have paid more for a lower mileage truck if one was for sale in Ga at the time.

He bought it! I'm pretty stoked to have another 100 in the family. I now have someone to pass the Lower Ball Joint knowledge on to.
For Reference, I think he came in around $12.5. It drives well. Steering and shifting were smooth. A few small rock chips, and he'll be needing a set Jonharris door lock actuators, but otherwise it was clean.

Now I just need to get him on 'Mud
