My AHC is currently operating ok. However when we put out boat trailer on the vehicle the springs ( rear ) have shown their age. What OME spring can I use that would pretty much keep the stock height so that the AHC would still be useable but add the stiffness and strength so a boat trailer doesnt sink the rear so bad? I can tell the springs are pretty weak after all these years. Thanks ..

i know you're asking for ome but why not stick with new oem? ome may be too stiff when not towing. were you ever happy with oem springs when towing - ie is it just the age? also another option that a number of folks here seem happy with is oem springs + air bags. sorta have your cake (stock ride dynamics) and eat it too (extra load capacity when needed).

i should point out im not speaking from firsthand experience since i dont regularly tow, just basing my suggestions on what i've seen here from others.

I am interested in this too. My AHC works fine except when loaded... then it can't maintain the N setting. I was thinking I would just have to replace the entire suspension, but now wonder if just new stiffer springs might work.

for you, and the remote locations you like to go to i'd suggest AHC removal :)
