Low miles, but maintenance is key. If they weren't willing to fix the antenna while they owned it and left the head unit inoperable, makes one wonder what else they thought was worth maintaining. Head unit install doesn't look great either. Definitely grab a Carfax or Autocheck on this one.

Great point ElHefe.

Met with the owner and walked around the vehicle for an initial inspection at lunch today. Under the hood - Missing the ID Tag on the driver side fender. The front passenger door had a "Aracco" sticker on it - did a quick search and didn't return anything concrete??

It's been used solely as a winter vehicle over the last few years and you can tell it needs all of the fluids changed and maintenance, besides oil changes, has been put off.

I'm going to look at a Carfax as he's the third owner and it started life in Chicago. Minimal rust on the upper tailgate. Peered down next to the engine block/mounts and seemed like quite a bit - not sure how much of this is considered "surface" rust.

Unless you're in a dry climate, any used vehicle is going to have some rust. Just make sure you can either handle it or have someone else handle it for you (aka, no structural damage or irreversible rot).

Glad you checked the upper liftgate. My LX looks great and has minimal rust IMO but the upper liftgate will need some love since the rust is pretty bad.

Doesn't sound too promising depending on the price of course.
The ARACO sticker on the passenger drivers door is normal

Additionally, I was pleasantly surprised the TB Service was completed by the previous owner at 91k miles back in 2010.
