For sale is a 2000 Toyota Land Cruiser with 244k miles. I’ve owned it a little over a year and 3k miles. The guy before us owned it here in Boise for about 10 years. Great stock 100 series. Only reason I am selling is I found a 200 series that I couldn’t pass up.
Spent over $7k getting it set up for the future as we planned to keep this forever and I wanted it running like a top. All the below were done in December 2023/January 2024 and less than 3k miles ago. They were done at the best Toyota/Lexus specialty shop in Boise, LTS Motors.
New Timing belt/water pump
New radiator
New serpentine belt
New spark plugs and ignition coils
New valve cover gaskets
Front/rear differential, transmission, transfer case fluids all done
New power steering line set
I bought this because the previous owner cared for it like I care for my vehicles and there is very minimal rust.
I also put on new Wildpeak AT3s in 285/75r16 and a spare in the same size as well. I bought OEM struts front and rear and new end links and all bushings and installed those myself.
For creature comforts I added New LED headlight bulbs, Weather tech floor mats, new door speakers and a back up camera. I also added front seat covers as the drivers seat was wearing, and I think the new ones look good.
All the clear coat is intact and the paint is in good shape but there is some pinstriping on the sides. It should come out with a light sand/buff if needed.
I was starting to gather spare parts as well so those will come with it - UCAs, tie rod ends, torsion bars, etc. I did take the rubbing boards off for the super sweet free “2 inch lift”. Those come with the truck as well.
I also have an older Yakima Rocket box that will come with the truck if someone wants it.
I have it listed on Facebook Marketplace for $16,000 but happy to discount for a fellow Mud member. Shout with questions or if you want pictures/videos of something in particular. I would not hesitate to drive this thing anywhere at anytime. It’s a fantastic truck and I planned to keep it forever but the wife doesn’t want our driveway turning into a zoo.
