The PO ran into something and the rear flare on the driver's side is either broken or a clip on the back is broken. This is just the part connected to the door. I have the "large" flare. Does anyone know how these are attached?

Are you talking about the cladding? I test drove one that had the rear door cladding screwed on with some sheet metal screws, and after looking at it, I think the flare part on the door is actually part of the molded door cladding. If it is broken off then I think you may have to get a whole new piece. I priced one from Sam at LOWE and I think the MUD price was like $225 for the door cladding piece.
