Edit* I've had zero luck finding the seals. found one close that you probably found gett it to work. but just swapped new springs over to the old ones and reused them ill keep looking to see if I can find them.

All part numbers will be below

So I bought this truck and it had the bumper already on there. It appears it never had any maintenance done to it. It's been hard to open just not smooth. I figured I would just repack the bearings and call it a day. BOYY was I in for a nasty surprise. So now this project has turned into a multi-day one. Currently waiting on parts.

Took everything apart that was actually fairly easy. Got the bearings and races out. and they were so bad there where no part number left. So it was a matching game. Found sealed rolling bearings that will work perfectly. Could not find any cone ones. As for the dust/ oil seals. That's been the hardest part. I have some that will be here this week but they are a hair too big. I'll have to sand them out where they sit. "I did not try and sand to see if they fit was on a time crunch"

Also bought new bolts!

I will update yall when the rest of the parts get here. I'll also provide Part numbers after I know they will work.

Pictures of Part numbers

The receipt is for the new bolts!

***the seals list will not work***** You could make them but will require work to fit them.

Well its 98% done. Just waiting on ARB to send me new gas struts and end caps. No telling when they be here. Also changed every light to LEDs with smart tap. The swinging is so much more smooth and well worth it. I know this is a crappy write up. but I hope it helps someone down the road.

Are they beyond cleaning? Just seeing the pics, I get a hankering to clean one. :)

Being the spindles stay mostly static, even though they're dirty, shouldn't see too much wear. Unless they've flat-spotted?

I can't say for sure, but I believe its common for swingouts to use small trailer axle spindles. If you can take a caliper to them, should be able to find a suitable replacement.

They are gone. Maybe could but not worth it to me. I did find replacement ones, should be picture of it above. It was the seals that are the PITA to find.

Nice. I do like NAPA as they have a pretty extensive inventory. Not the cheapest but worth the convenience.

Napa had nothing except the lights. I used a place called A-1 Auto in Durham NC. They are the ones that went above and beyond to help me with the bearings. As for the seal, Orileys had a great guy. He called some people and found close to the right ones. should be able to make them work!
