This is probably a stupid question, but I'll ask anyway...

I locally found a set of 20" Tundra wheels 5x150 with Nitto Grappler LT35 x 11.5 x 20 tires.

There's no way these would fit my 200 series without modification, would they?

Sorry if this has been asked before but I could only find 18" Tundra threads, and the 200 series tire and wheel database/google doc is seemingly no longer available.

Most people that have run 35s end up going back to something smaller due to all the compromises required to make them work.. and even then, they will still probably rub. Also this assumes healthy lift, probable body mount mods, KDSS relocation..

There should be no problem with the tundra 20 itself, but you’d likely need a smaller tire.

Note that tire diameters that fit an LX may not fit a cruiser due to KDSS sway bar dimensions.

Which version of the Grapplers? Agreed it won't fit without mods.

That said, if you were wanting to make these fit, it wouldn't be outside the realm of possibility. The steps and necessary mods are understood at this point. Lift is not mandatory as they should fit and clear at all points in the suspension stroke. Note that it's potentially more than just dropping in tires and making it fit as you'll probably want to consider braking and gearing (find links in my sig).

True that it's an easier fit to the LX as there is no KDSS bar. Added step for the LC is a KDSS relocation bracket which is readily available. It does put the end link at a steeper angle but there's also strategies to deal with that.

Rest of the fitment recipe is documented below. Some things like body mount chop and upper control arm mod might not even be necessary for an 11.5 wide tire.
