hi folks, I am a newbie and wanted to know if anyone has fitted the heritage edition bbs wheels on their 2017 land cruiser. Based on my research, the wheel or rim offset seems to be different between the 2020 and 2017 model. The 2017 has an offset of 56 mm, whereas 2020+ has an offset of 60 mm. So, does that matter? if yes, is there a way to fit these without comprising and/or modifying much of the framework? Also, do I need to buy TPMS sensors or the existing ones can be reused?

p.s. I apologize in advance for too many questions and if those have been already addressed on some other threads.

Both members above are correct.

@tbisaacs is correct that 4mm difference in offset is negligible. I think (you should check with dealer) the TPMS on the 2017 and 2020+ are the same part number. So all you would need is reprograming of the TPMS sensor ID numbers into the truck the where the wheels will be mounted.

@BlackMammoth, I have already alerted the proper authorities. ;)

@NewLCGuy - You probably already thought about this.

Not sure where in your state you're located, or where you like to travel in the winter... you might want to consider mounting up snow tires on your current set of wheels, then whatever else (AT or road focused) you want on the HE wheels.

Did you end up buying the HE wheels? Thinking doing the same. Those rims are beauties. I dont care if the HE police catches me.

I mean do whatever ya like, but the heritage wheels will only be worth anything on a heritage edition truck. They are stupid expensive and don't look all that great. You can get better wheels for cheaper aftermarket. I have my HE wheels in storage for my 21 HE and have some black rhino wheels on it now (no I won't sell my HE wheels).

Well, to each his own... I disagree and think the HE wheels are gorgeous (either in a HE truck or not). I am fully aware I can get aftermarket wheels for a fraction of the HE wheels, but, again, I much prefer the Toyota OEM look. I am sure there is a reason for you to keep yours, even if you think they don't look all that great. But, hey! let me know if you change your mind

@AverageJones Whether you like them or not, they're forged: stronger and lighter than many other wheels. Aesthetics are very personal. I'd love to get a set of the same thing in black from a Tundra/Sequoia TRD Pro.

For your viewing pleasure. And yes, they do look great.

The Heritage Edition Police will find you and...

I don't know why they would bother? Clearly the Heritage Edition police know that those vehicles are far superior and thus none of the parts will fit on lowly base LC200s......

Completely kidding. Sorry, getting a bit sour on all the HE this and HE that.... its like Magnum and Blue Steel..... ITS ALL THE SAME!!!!

Exactly. I come from a 4runner TRD Pro and must confess it would sometimes bother me to see every other 4runner with blackout emblems and trd pro wheels looking exactly like mine (except for the color, since I had a cement). This was one of the reasons (not the main one) that made me trade in for an LC. However, it never bothered me to a point that I wanted to shame the posers...
