One of my favorite parts of the build is the tailgate. Overall rust free but I had to beat the crap out of it to make it straight. I also got my boss who does pinstripe to hand paint the lettering and teq. Logo

Once the body was assembled i got to the easy stuff 🙂 wiring, plumbing and mechanical. Mostly everyrhing is brand new. I just did a clean up on the drivetrain as it runs great and has low kms. I used new take off wheels from a 79 series and mated them.to the factory 6 bolt wheels. Tires, tube, liner and ring all worked on the old wheel. Also added a factory power steering set up.

Finally was driving time, after a few bugs worked out I loadded it up on my trailer a delivered to my dad in early October last yr. Overall I'm very happy with the final product and proud to have taken on this project with my dad. It was great to include my sons and wife as well.

Truck looks great! Neat father son project!
I see the LV hiding in the shop. How is that project going?
Ugg.... that lv 🤦‍♂️ so much was wrong when I bought back the half built project, and by wrong I mean unsafe. It would have been better to start with nothing done to it.
