Not the intent just a response to your comments and request for free items to join...and the comparison to the other group that gets everything for free from dealership when they show up.

We are about friendship, support, mechanical advice, camping, wheeling, eating, laughter, family, a feeling of belonging to something different and worthwhile. Our HAMOMs and our stickers are there for members....and one HAMOM to help you repair, replace or diagnose something on your rig will save you much more money and time than doing it alone....just ask Greg French or TTahara from our last HAMOM. I am thinking a HAMOM could have had your 80 on the road weeks ago.

I can't make Saturday, I'll make the next one. Do we have a HAMOM coming up anytime? I have a bad EGR (J-Tube). Gonna order the stainless one from SOR and a remflex gasket. Would appreciate a hand trying to get that old rusted one off or I might have to take it to Glenn at Lex Tech. I can furnish some refreshments and lend a hand to anyone else and their cruiser problems, to the best of my ability.

I'm good for a HAMON in June @ the shop, if anybody's interested just le me know the projects in mind (parts availability) I have all the tools and press's needed along with the acetelene torches but i have no welder and am not a proficient welder. I sub my welding out to a professional due to liability concerns.
What were you able to confirm on the no locker operation? front? rear? none? Greenseaman?

I have some issues on the 62 as well...Maybe we just do HAMOM's instead of monthly meetings for a while. We could still go and eat or cook out and those who can't stay can just eat, meet and leave.

And my pocket is tight wit money i only $14hr, and i try to spend it wisely.
Im not askin for any hand outs, i do all my own work, as you can see im driving my cruiser again.
Could have had my cruiser up in weeks instead of months, did you see how much i make an hour?

oh no. Well looks like i wont make it. Dam forgot i took off Wednesday, now i have to work Saturday to make up some hrs. sux at least im gettin out at 2030 instead of 2230

Shop labor rate $90.00 per hr, my pay $27.00 per hour, pay minimum wage, advertising$$$$ , parts purchases $$$$$$$$,PAYROLL TAXES, STATE AND FEDERAL, CORPORATE TAXES STATE AND FEDERAL, UNEMPLOYMENT TAXES, STATE SALES TAX, SOLID WASTE EXCISE TAXES, PROPERTY TAXES, TAXES TAXES TAXES ETC........ rent, shop supplies, LIABILITY INSURANCE, GARAGE KEEPERS INSURANCE, VEHICLE INSURANCE, vehicle maintanence, utilities, Fixing or replacing broken equipment, upgrading old out dated equipment, purchasing necessary tools, keeping current on latest scan tool software to keep up with the times. At the end of the day averages out to be below minimum wage. $14.00 an hr to clock in, clock out and leave it at the end of the day and leave it all behind.

Don't get me wrong i'm not complaining but were all just trying to make it.
Sorry, for the rant just needed to vent after a tough week of armwrestling customers.
