Hey y'all! Seeing as though we had so much fun the last time, figured another Gulches run is in order. SFLC had our first meeting of the year and identified 2/28 as a good date for hitting the park again. Who's in?

Prayers for an expedient recovery, my friend! This would be a good trip for your 40 - plenty of wide trails with no risk of damage. Also, some more "fun" stuff if you decide to take it up a notch.
How much of a project is it? When I was a kid, my neighbor had a lifted El Camino that was built for off-roading. I think it had 37" tires, he had to pick up my friend and I to get in it... And it had a ladder for his wife. It was the first car I ever fell in love with.
Its rough, but cheap. I want to make a driver out of it, but I've only seen a couple of pictures.
If it turns out to be too bad, I can part it out and easily get my money out of it.

Don't worry Matt, Teddy set the record straight on a different thread. It's snowing out there tomorrow, so if it doesn't snow the rest of the week, it'll still be a mudfest. No Gulches this weekend... We'll have to re-schedule.
Dude, you need to give some serious thought to GSMTR!
I can't speak for STR, because I've not been, but as for wheeling, GSMTR is the best.

Either one will be awesome, but the best wheeling I've ever done was last year at GSMTR. It set the bar.

We cancelled it due to the weather... It rained/snowed up until a few days before the event and I was told the park was closed... Even if it hadn't been, it would have been a sloppy winchfest!
Thanks for the update - I was out of town for the week leading into the event and was completely oblivious to the weather conditions in SC.
