2 days!!

I am having some last minute cancelations (as expected. I expect more).

If you are coming on friday

I will be there at about 10am and will be helping people get situated and show them where the camping is going to be. I do expect to do some wheeling on friday too. Friday night will be camping.

If you are coming saturday

Try to be there by 9am. We will be in the parking lot organizing the trail groups.

I know many of you and know this doesnt need to be said but.... Please respect the trails. Dont make your own trails. Tread lightly. Clean up after yourself. Also be respectful of Marseilles. They are just now getting used to the Cliffs being there. Lets not piss them off.

40 "should" be together....last step is a trial run down the street and some cleanup work....but it steers

55 should be done as well. The 3 speed case is in with the 74 16 spline gears in it. I still am waiting on the input shaft bearing that should be at the shop by 9:30 tomorrow and I found I'll have to cannibalize the 73 case for the output shaft seal as it is unobtanium even using Woody's part number on the trivia page. A good day tomorrow without any surprises and I'll be there on Friday at some point.


That's all assuming that none of the bad noises were coming out of the rear end. I'm fresh out of 80 locking thirds.


Gotta fix the fan, and the CB, and mount the speakers, and take off the passenger door, and build some new ramps, and .....

I miss my 80.

well, just discovered both hydro assist hoses have leaks...so it's off to the hydro shop tomorrow to get those redone....

hopefully, no more bugs....bit nervous since I haven't wheeled the rig since January....

A little JB weld and it'll be fine I bet...

I've gotten most of my rig back together. I got the new driveshaft back from the shop and installed, just a few tweeks and it should be ready to go. In either case I will be there on Friday with at least 2 of my rigs!

T minus 29 hours and counting.

and, my PS works....finally! no leaks either (at least for now....)

just gotta find my camping gear and load up...and a little cleaning too

transfer case is in. fiddling around with little stuff now. I could load it up as it sits. Just doing things like re-mounting the speakers and hosing out the interior now.

I'll be there Fri evening...like 5ish or so.....believe Digger and Al and I are meeting in Janesville at 3p to roll out...

DMax has the trailer attached, and (amazingly) the lights and brakes work dandy....the trailer tires are even full of air!! WOOHOO!!

Loading tomorrow morning I think...Smokin5.0 is supposed to be buyin her house tonite, so I'm on "moving detail" this evening



plus, I just picked up a Sig Mosquito, and wanna get in a little plinkin time
