Wheelers are a great, respectable bunch.

I'll be there Friday Afternoon too with a tent. Now where did i leave my margarita glass.....

Will anyone have any kids there? I have a friend that is interested but wants to make sure it is somewhat kid friendly.

I will be there for sure. Friday some time. Tent camping at the Cliffs. Leaving Sunday. Bringing my buddy.

Carl from Outback Offroad is going to bring his 13YO daughter, so there is at least one other kid who will be there. We may use some colorful language at times, but we all try to be respectful and I am sure that the families will have a good time with us.

Update

Close to 60-70 rigs at this point!!

Gumby, Tom, Joez, and I did a little prerun on some intermediate/advanced (IMO) stuff. The trails are DRY, which is good. Some good technical driving can be done due to the amount of traction.

Heres some pics

I will be at the cliffs around 10-11 on friday (27th) to help things along, and do some wheeling.

Hey Woody, I can't seem to ever get the store on IH8MUD. com to work for me. Bring some stuff if you can and I'll buy. I like stickers, and an XL t-shirt would be nice. Thanks, Tony.

I'm coming. Will be there in am of Sat. Bringing the two things that suck up cash like it was candy, my cruiser and my g-friend. will stay til sunday. tent at the cliff's. What time are ya'll startin on Sat?

See ya'll there,
Patrick

I would like to say we will start wheeling at 9am.....but with a group of this size and multiple camp grounds, alot of this event maybe be social. Which is fine. But many of the trails are best wheeled in small groups (especially the hard ones), so groups of people can take off when they want. Its so hard to plan the actual day of wheeling. We will just see what happens.

If your asking what time to be at the park. I would say 830-9.

I checked the 10 day on the weather channel and it looks perfect!!!. No real chance of rain after tomorrow so the trail should be nice and dry. And Friday (27) is 87 and sunny.

I just thought I would throw this out there, there is not a host for the festivities on fri night and sat night. So basically you are on your own for food etc... Also bring some fire wood for the fire.

Maybe next year I can get someone to host a bbq.

There are businesses in Marsailles and Senica as well.

A lunch tent is available throughout the day in the park. They have dogs and brats as well as chips, soda, water, etc.

There have been many days out there that I have not had the chance to get back to the parking lot during the day when the lunch tent is open. Stuff happens, especially with big groups.

I plan on driving down Saturday night if I can get in late? How late can we arrive and find a place to park/sleep? or do the gates at Cliffs close at a certain time?

I am fairly self contained in my truck, so I won't need much.

Thanks,

B.

UPDATE:

Well, today I went to the cliffs with Gumby and met Tom. We did some camp site hunting and found a couple places to camp. They should both be nice sites but I will warn you now it might be a little dusty due to some distant ATV traffic. Im not worried about it.

The weather looks good. slight chance of some rain on friday. That might be a great thing. Its very dry out there, and unless its a major rain it shouldnt soup stuff up, but it will knock down the dust. Sat/Sun are sunny and mid 80's.

We talked to Steve (owner) and he is going to do some trail work to make the easy trails more consistant and fun for the stockers/newbies.

Every one who brings a vehicle will receive a raffle ticket (I think I can add a tube bumper to that). Additional raffle tickets can be bought.

An orange flag is mandatory for all vehicles so either bring one or bring $12.99.

Oh and Gumby broke his t-case in half today during our shake-down run:)

Well thats all I can think of for now.
