could haev used these a couple years ago.

BTW 2nd gens dont have L-trim.

ok... i was considering 84-85 one and 86-89 the other....but no biggie

How the heck do you even get the old one off? I got one from the yard and i couldn't get the rusted one off...

use a heat gun to soften the butyl tape that holds the window in. once out you will see the mounting screws...

Got pics of product?

No biggie in deed, I doubt any one with a 2nd gen would make the mistake of buying one anyway.

The picture just doesn't do them justice
Look great in person
The discoloration from welding is the only down fall
But still way better than rusty steel

If you paint them there would be no discoloration... thanks for the bump tony

It should only need polishing if it's stainless steel maybe a light sanding with 1000 or 1500 grit and then polish. I have repaired window trim that was dented by straightening, blocking with different grits until straight and polished with course rubbing compound with excellent results. Same principals apply prep metal and polish.

There is a "Bill translation" app online...

That mother fxxxer should only need polishing if it's that fxxxing stainless steel s***, maybe a light sanding with fxxxin 1000 or 1500 grit and then polish that bitch. I have repaired fxxxin window trim that was dented like a mother fxxxer by straightening, fxxxing blocking with different grits until straight and polished with course ass fxxxing rubbing compound with excellent fxxxing results. Same fxxxin principals apply, fxxxin prep and polish that mother fxxxer.

:D
