The vacuum sensor on the back of the 1kz-t turbo intake. Anyone know what purpose it serves? It was disconnected for a while and the electrician had to rewire it and connect it back. He thinks it's for the a/c for when it comes on but it doesn't seem to be for that purpose. If anyone has any idea what its for would be great.

Thanks

It looks like the vacuum solenoid that raises the rpms when the aircon comes on but they are used for other things.

I think this is it and its to do with emissions, opening and closing to mix crank gases with air in the intake. The cartoon is for a 90 series prado
