Currently my 1kz-te is suffering from intermittent power loss when cruising up hills. Instead of lugging up the hill it caves and drops speed significantly.
When it happens it spits out code 14 (timing control system malfunction (or possibly crank angle 7 degrees or more out).
Personally I think it could be a faulty timing control valve but just want to see what others think
