1hz to 1hdt conversion. TPS question. (1 Viewer)

Newbie here, have found heaps of info on here , now my question.
I have transplanted a 1hdt into my coaster bus, which previously had a 1hz non turbo.
The new injector pump does not have a tps fitted, whereas my old pump does.
The bus runs well but the OD light flashes, indicating the TPS is disconnected.
Why doesn't the new pump have a TPS?
I'm going to look at putting the throttle arm and TPS form the old pump onto the new pump.
Any thought would be welcome.
Do I need the tps?

I would guess the new engine was from a manual transmission vehicle. No TPS in a manual.

I think you should be able to swap the mechanism over without issues.
