The trans/transfer in the photo looks like an r151?

Probably a H150F tranny.

The H151F with closer gear ratios was used on the 1HD-T and 1HD-FT turbo diesels.

1HZ non turbo diesels came with the H150F tranny that has wider gear ratios (lower first gear).

R151s came with non turbo 1hzs.
H150s and 151s came with the higher output trucks like the 1hd-t, ft and currently used in the 1vd-fte.

R151s came in the later mine trucks like the hzj79s not the hzj75. 75s came with the h55 and this sure doesn't look like an h55f

Not true according to Toyota

I have sold the engine and tranny posted in this thread

I have 3 more low kms 1HZ engines for sale with 2 more 5 speeds available if needed

All 3 engines will be sold complete as the first 1 did

Call if interested, the engines will be $3500 and transmissions $1800

Thats a H150 cuz the R151 i had, had a skinnier casing, especially below the shifter area.

May be the $ change was becuz it sold so fast, so the seller thinks he priced it too low? = wrong strategic move,:lol: I was thinking of selling my 1HZ for $4000, albeit which is pretty clean w/ injection pump cleaned and injectors rebuild.

So what kind of condition are these engines in after having done their duty in the mines?

The one in the photo is a r series . The first setup was already out ,now he is having to pay a mechanic to pull the other ones, plus a bit of a pain being he is 2 1/2 hours away from the trucks as well ,can be justified somewhat. I'm heading up with him tomorrow to buy some broken junk.

If you had any questions just give a call, the 3 engines I have left are all low kms

My strategy is called selling stuff I no longer need for a fair price and moving onto something more important to me

I'm moving fairly soon and no longer need 15 trucks in my yard. Hence why I sold the first engine for 2300

Ill try and post pictures this weekend when I get back to my property/shop

I honestly have never heard at least with the mine trucks h150s coming in.
It's always been the h55f and the r151 (1999+)

They are the cheapest cab chassis models one can buy...

What kind of price can we do if I come up, pull and picked up?

I was actually talking to Mark at ENS about this and he does not have access to any H150/151F schematics for parts. Only H55 and R151F.

This is probably why the Japan warehouse has 4 R151F trannies with the correct part number to mate to a 1HZ engine.
