So basically you tight up the boost compensator spring making it ( the diaphragm ) more stiff therefore less prone to move under boost, which equal to less pin travel, less fuel pin travel ..
So, this is what lowered my boost readings ya think?
 
just had my pump rebuilt and set for 20 psi (that’s what my max boost is set for using a turbo T boost comoensator). i’m having the same issue though as Sd1975 in that my boost comes on slow and really doesn’t max out now. i figured it was because my star wheel was turned too tight. can anyone confirm which way that i turn it to take some spring tension off? i think counter clockwise but just want to make sure!
