I have a 1HDFT 24 valve factory turbo diesel with H151 5-speed from an 80 series.
The holy grail of drivetrains for a diesel 80 conversion.
Drivetrain came from the UK.
Includes many parts to convert your gasser truck including:
engine with all accessories (alternator, starter, air-con pump, turbo, etc).
H151 transmission
bellhousing, flywheel, (used) clutch, slave arm
clutch master
clutch slave
clutch pedal
diesel tachometer
radiator shroud
engine harness
shifter console cover (rhd though)

Mileage is unknown. But I was assured that the engines were in good shape when they were pulled by the wrecker. crated and ready to ship.

This motor is in the crate next to one of my motors at VH. It is the real-deal, and I have pics and info available for anyone is interested just PM me. Lots of good bits and pieces included in the package which will be needed for any FZJ to HDJ conversion.

It is the top-line diesel for the 80 series. There are a number of items that have to be done to convert a gasser to a diesel, regardless of the motor/manufacturer. No options are fully plug-and-play, but some like this can be fitted to the 80s and both look and operate as if it came from the factory in your truck.

Here is a good thread that several of us have been contributing towards, which outlines what we are doing.

Ok, thanks for the info. I am new to this FJ80 world, bought the rig 5 months ago after owning 4 cummins trucks prior, mine is a 92 that as you know feels soooooo gutless, but I am really appreciating every other aspect of the rig, and when you live in a small mountain town, this need for speed is simply a selfish desire. I feel as though a diesel with a 5 speed in the 80 series is how it should of came, factory! I will read the links and be in touch!
