We have had this for sale for about a week locally with no takers. So time to list here to the wider audience.

$5,000

Also more info on page 10.

This is @jomelo engine FYI.

Cheers

So is this the engine out of the Belgian HDJ80 , the Wink 4x4 engine or still another one ?

It is not the FT from my 80 Ute build. It had the Winks turbo on it, so I think yes. It was “gone through” prior to coming to us.

Cheers

To clarify, there is no injection pump and no turbo. There is no alternator.

I need to double check on injectors. Otherwise this is a complete engine.

Cheers

Yes this is the engine that I acquired from you. It came from Winks.
It was converted from FTE to FT and got some refresh but I don't recall that it was rebuild . Wish you guys didn't take it apart as I would have loved to have it in a cruiser as it ran very smooth and was pretty fast when I test drove it in the Wink 4x4 shop cruiser.

Aha I remember now that was a shop after I sold it to John that did the "gone trough" , what a shame as this was a fun engine when I tested it.

Unfortunately the head needed one valve seat. It also needed 3-thousands taken off it. The head has been checked but it needs new valves for my machine shop to finish it off. Or somebody could do the valve install themselves if they feel confident.

Hone on it was awful, rings put in it are no good.

It needs the bores cleaned up, more than a hone. It needs new rings. It needs new valves and one seat. It needs a new or replacement injection pump. It needs a turbo. Cam is good, conrods good, pistons may have to be replaced if upsizing required, crank is good.

If somebody is willing to do this, it could be a great engine again. We could build it for a buyer if they want as well as source parts.

Cheers
