You guys could break it down in my shop (in Boise) and I'll store the third member in case we ever need it. I hate to see FJ40 parts go to scrap!

Adam's post on the Google groups reminded me about your axle. I thought I would be able to take the axle as is, but currently don't have the space to break it down for just the housing, which would go directly into storage.

Yes, Adam has an already bare housing for pickup. I just saw the offer from centerlineseal above. :( Sorry.
Maybe he will take it off your hands rather then let it go to scrap?
 
I’ve been meaning to post this but keep forgetting-
I have a spare Steering Gear Box core for the 80 series, if someone needs one to have rebuilt with no downtime let me know.

I looked at that, ... and knew someone else needed it more than me! Did you get it?
 
I did! They said they were getting blown up foe offers to beat me out, but said sorry first, come first served. It’s brand new but been in a box in the garage for a decade so there is a small dent in it. But it will be great for me, much better looking than mine. It even has instructions and silicone adhesive from MAF, but I might get some new adhesive. Lol
 
Got a 70-series stock front bumper in decent shape. It does have one small dent.

Got an 80-series tire carrier that goes under the rear of the body.

Free on these, come get them before I toss in the scrap bin.

Those items now tossed.

Got a free 2F oil pan, I don’t recall why we replaced it but I do recall saving it because it could be fixed. I am going to toss it if nobody wants it.

Randomness from my old FJ40. 40 bucks for the whole box. Also rear seat frame from a 71. $50 no photo of that and can’t remember which side off hand.
