selling this as a parts/project engine.

picked this up from a good mechanic friend of mine who is vary familiar with land cruiser diesel engines. it was his 80.

its a 1993 with 183000 miles.

number 6 piston/con rod failed, he dropped the sump and said damage had been caused to the block/bore. he removed the piston so that the 80 could be shunted around the yard.

asking $2500 plus $850 to port shipping.

So it would need to be bored and a new set of pistons?

maybe count on it needing a replacement block, anything less a bonus. there is one on here for $1000. makes it a cheap engine imo. some pay "full price" for a engine and it ends up being torn down anyway.

if someone is interested i can drop the sump and post some pics.

I need some parts if you end up parting it out. Valve cove, timing belt cover, power steering reservoir, wire harness ( if you have it) top coolant pipe and maybe some sensors.
