1HD-T vs FT or FTE pistons

Just wondering on the difference between the three in pistons in regards to combustion chambers are? If you put a 24v head on a 1HD-T would the bowl be compatible with the injectors in regards to shape and direction? Basically would an FT or FTE head assembly bolt up and run well on an FT or FTE block? Pump/injector differences aside... Only problem I can see is injectors/bowls but if these match up shoudl be good no?

The bowl position/shape are different between the 1hdt and ft. As far as I know, the ft and fte are the same.

The difference might be something to do with the injector angle or position in the head.
