- Vehicle Model
- 80 Series
*****400$*****
This is also listed on Craigslist and Facebook marketplace if you want to see the other photos because I can only attach four here.
The engine would start and run and drive the Land Cruiser, a 1995 model, however, please see the last photo which shows the damaged piston which caused the loss of compression that was assumed to be a head gasket failure when purchased & trailered. The engine was replaced and the oil pan in these photos doesn’t fit very well but would most likely work. The original oil pan went to the replacement engine. The main problem with the new oil pan is that it doesn’t have an opening for the crankshaft position sensor.
Included:
Cylinder head.
Valve cover.
Timing cover.
Pistons.
Rods.
Main caps.
Cylinder block.
Crankshaft.
*old* main & rod bearings.
Upper oil pan.
Lower oil pan.
Rear main seal fixture.
Rod caps.
Both camshafts.
All camshaft fasteners and valve buckets.
Various bolts and parts.
Everything in the photos is included and I’m going to get pictures of the camshafts and distributor that are in a different shed. If you’re not an engine rebuilder, the absolute bare minimum for this is going to be at least one new piston *and* all the bearings and gaskets and seals and piston rings and bolts must be replaced as usual. There are definitely missing parts and bolts. And machine shop refurbishing is needed.
