Toyota Land Cruiser 100 Series PRICE: $9,750. *. SOLD. *
330k miles - No oil leaks - runs great!
Why am I selling?
My wife takes her son (previous marriage) to Layton (120 mile round trip) most weekends and it is costly for her to drive the thirsty LC. Her other options in our fleet would be an 80 series, a 1974 Cj5, or a Porshe 911 turbo. Do you see the problem I have... with cars? My plan is to sell the 100, CJ5, and the 911. I am wanting a 200 series and a gas saver. That is the reason, but feel free to ask more questions.
The 100 story:
I bought this 100 series for my wife 3 years ago. I bought it out of Oregon from Shane, who was very involved in this community for a long time. He built this 100 series with so much care and... do I dare say OCD. Check out the build thread that covered a couple of years and you will get what I mean.
BUILD THREAD: Finally a 100 owner....
...continued
I flew to Oregon to pick it up. He has not been on here for a number of years. The front end was not in great order. I had to redo the front wheel bearings and put some new tires on the rig since the ones that he said were in great shape were cupping and wearing horribly, to no point of correcting them. To make a long story short, he neglected the IFS and front end.
Current State of Front end: Nearly all new since I have owned it.

- Clean Title in Hand
- Mileage At The Time of Sale: 295,000 Miles (we put about 35,000 on it)
- Paint: minor scratches and chips but overall very good for the year and miles. Front passenger fender and door were painted and repaired in 2018. My wife backed out my 80 series with the back passenger door open. It caught the 100 series and made a long scratch and impression along the front fender and leading into the door. It was repaired and painted by the most reputable body shop in Northern Utah (Wolford Auto body). It looks and functions perfect.
- Previous owner told me timing belt was done at 250k miles. I cannot read the miles indicated on sticker. I have not changed it, FYI.
