Hello,
Due to some truly wonderful changes in station, I simply cannot fully utilize what is a truck I had hoped to keep for decades.
1999 LX470
Pearl White/Ivory Leather
Garage kept
97,xxx miles
Purchased at 71,000 miles in February 2013 (I think anyway)
I have probably spent close to $10,000 just bringing it up to what I think to be baselined.
This includes:
90K Service (preformed at 73xxx due to age)
AHC Service (works like a top)
CV Boots (front axle)
OEM Michelin LTX's
Upper Control Arm replaced
And this is just what I can think of, but there is way more. All servicing was done at one of three dealers:
Germain Toyota (Sarasota, FL)
Wilde Lexus (Sarasota)
Lexus of Knoxville
For the truly interested, I will effort to find all my invoices, but can also be looked up on Lexus.com aside from the servicing done by Germain Toyota.
I have made a number of posts about this truck and have been fully forthcoming about what I paid (approx $13,500)
That said, the price was solely and truly a favor extended to my older brother who has been in the auto business since he was 15 (42 now)
Finding a sub 100k 100 Series is soon going to be close to a unicorn sighting unless one wants to spend $35k on a 2006-2007 model.
