1999 105 series LC with clear TX title. Aux tank, OEM cyclonic air filter, new tires, very nice. Used as daily driver by diplomat that brought it over. No gray area or illegal VIN change. This is a rare truck to find in the US and it is in a very nice condition.

Solid front axle and full float rear like the 80 series but the body and comfort of a 100 series.

Yes

Yes the 105 series is basically an 80 chassis with a 100 body. The Aussies did not want the A arm front suspension and semi floating rear axle. The 105 series was the answer.

A friend recently had Slee put a solid axle in the front of his 100 series and the conversion cost considerably more than the list price of this whole truck... plus you get the aux tank and full float rear axle to boot.

I will get some pics posted in the morning.

What a sweet ride, 100 body with 80 setup! 4x4 couch!

Sorry, it is a gasser.

Here are some pics form the shop tonight. The lights are flourescent so the color may be a bit off. It is blue.

The pic of fuel fill port shows the dual tank set up. Two inlet holes for the two tanks.

Dang Justin, rare vehicle! Wish I had the cash to put it next to the BJ42 I bought from you. I am starting the restore work on it this spring! Finally...

Hey

Hey Doc! I miss the Colonel terribly. Please let me know when you start on it. How about a partial trade to get the Colonel back??

Give me a call. I have the 105 at work today so I can drop by.

Totally cool, was looking at it & thought someone had put 80 wheels on a 100.

RHD neat.....

Justin, that thing is gorgeous! Even a confirmed diesel-lover can appreciate that beast!

Thanks

Greg? It has been a long time! Hope all is well with you.

I have several folks calling and talking but I only need one "I'll take it" from you guys and gals. If the price is too high for the market then feel free to make me an offer. I don't bite.

I would love to see this truck stay in the Mud family. The next option is the dupont registry and other snooty markets. Not a fitting end for this truck. it needs to be shown the Outback of the US properly.

It has 140K miles.

Yes

The general answer is "Yes"... a 100 body on an 80 chassis. The detailed answer is "Mostly" because there are some minor deltas like 5 lug wheels instead of 6 lug BUT the 80 parts will bolt right on to convert these to 6 lug.

Motor, trans, tcase, axles... all 80 series.

Even with a trade it is out of my price range, plus I am really excited about getting the Colonel ready for the spring and summer! On a sentimental note I plan on keeping the name on the hood even after I eventually get to the body and paint. You still driving the 80/450 around?

Guys, anyone looking at this I bought Justin's BJ42 and he is very knowledgeable and a stand-up guy. I don't mind taking a look or any pics for any out of town buyers as a mostly unbiased 3rd party. Just shoot me a PM if I can help.

Thanks Doc...

Your BJ-42 is one of very few things I have sold in my life that I regret. I am glad to hear that you are keeping the name. I look forward to seeing it on the road again.

Thanks for the inspection offer. If someone takes you up on it give me a call on the cell.
