Hey all,

First, I did mud search and google site: search before posting (hopefully I don't just suck at both).

Next, the question: How much fuel is in the tank (3.4/man/4wd) when the dummy light comes on?

I checked the owner's manual, and I think the tank capacity is 18gal (about 68L for those of you whose country has advanced enough to adopt the easiest measuring system out there)...thoughts? (Or facts?)

Thanks

I would guess about 16 or 15.5. I have put 17.4 gal in mine, which was probably pushing it way too far.

Fuel tank holds like 18+ gallons. Managed to pull into a gas station once while the engine was literally shutting off from lack of fuel and I know I squeezed in that much.

Best I can figure my reserve light comes on somewhere around 14 gallons. It comes on Waaayyyy too early.

For my '01 Tacoma with the 3.4L, it is an 18.6G tank and the light comes on at 2.2G or something similar. I would assume it is similar for your rig.

That's pretty much the impression I get...the light's on well above the E line. The light in the FJ80 I used to have would come on well below the line and still have 5gal left.

Well, thanks all. Until next time...
