Sold!

NAME YOUR PRICE!!!!

Price lowered to $5700...name your price!

Okay...selling my 4Runner with a Rear DIFF LOCK that works. Here is the text from my craigslist ad:

The 4Runner has been my daily driver for the past several months and drives well. I just bought a Land Cruiser and my wife doesn't want 3 vehicles in the driveway...so this one has to go! It has recently had new brakes put on the rear, new shocks on the rear, all fluids changed, the tires have 80% tread on Goodyear Wranglers (265/70R16) on nice alloy rims (larger than stock tires), a little lift, sports package, shinny running boards, hood scoop, luggage rack, moon roof, CD player with remote, AC is nice and cold, remote start, 4x4 with low range AND REAR DIFFERENTIAL LOCKERS (rare option that REALLY makes this 4Runner capable in almost any conditions), 131k miles, auto, cloth interior, and wiring for extra speakers/amp all set up. A nice vehicle that will last a LONG time. I would say the body is in very good condition, not excellent...a few small scratches and nothing you wouldn't expect out of a 13-14 year old vehicle. There recently developed an exhaust leak that I am going to have fixed this week for $40 at Lentz...or you can come buy it as is for an extra $100 off the price. Come on over and take it for a test drive. Blue Book is around $7650 without the remote start, rear differential locker, and sound upgrades. All offers welcome but I'm in no rush to sell it. Call Kyle at 269-599-2587.

MUD is hands down your best source for technical advice but probably not your number 1 source for selling vehicles. Besides Craigslist you might also want to consider EbayMotors. At a minimum it is a fairly cheap way to advertise.
Might also consider T4R.com ( where the 4Runner guys hang out :))
Good luck .......

off-road-ability-wise, how much better is the e-locker in the 99-00 versus the VTRAC in the 01-02 models?

I'm sure it depends on personal taste and what you are driving on but I prefer the e-locker because I don't like the computer doing things for me. I'd rather be in control of the vehicle. From what I've read on other threads is that in slippery situations the VTRAC is annoying...I'm no expert though. Anybody else have an opinion?

Bump

Lowered the price to $6800 for Mud!

Make an offer!

Okay...any takers? Name your price and lets see if we can work something out.

Get it for a steal!!!

Down to $5700...anybody? 269-599-2587

I personally think that's a great price and if you were in Denver you'd sell it in less than a day at that price. Although some may be wary of the rust that happens in that part of the country, I still think it should sell at that price. I'd put it up on ebay motors to get more national exposure if it was my 4runner!

Thanks for the encouragement. After I posted it at that price today I got 2 calls locally and one off of t4r.org where I also posted it for sale. Hopefully I get a sale by the end of the weekend...if not I'll have to do ebay...maybe. The problem is that I don't really need the money this second and I kind of like the 4Runner. Although, if I did sell it soon I would buy a warn winch/compressor combo for my LC before winter.

Sold it yesterday!
