Hi Mud!

Been a long time lurker here in the 100's section and finally pulled the trigger on a 99 LC. You guys seriously inpired me to sell my old truck and join the ranks of the 100 series. As a former 1st gen 4runner loyalist (85, 86 and 88's), I am happy to be sitting on leather, pushing a fuel injected V8 and employing a factory locker.

As is oft reported here, I bought this truck from a soccer mom who swears this truck has never left suburban pavement. Looking forward to giving this rig a new lease on life and taking it to the places it was born to go. First upgrade was replacing the old cracked michelin tires and upgrading to 285.75.16 BFG AT KO2 MEAT. Just ordered replacement LED's and the next stop will most likely be an OME 1.5 kit and some sliders.

So that nice young truck was sitting in a mall parking lot living a quiet life in comfortable old shoes and you came alone, stuck on some heavy duty boots, and now you're going to jack it up and take it out into the mountains and beat it up........way to go! It's going to be much happier.

Cleaned up the fog lights a while back. Used 3M kit from amazon. At $13 I couldn't believe how well it worked. The bulbs I used were Hella Optilux Yello bulbs for $20. So with about an hour worth of work and $30 the fog lights look new and throw a really nice yellow beam for the fog here on the coast.
