The car began to run hot. I thought changing the thermostat would be the first, inexpensive thing to replace.

The thermostat is located under the alternator and above the A/C compressor. Removing alternator looked easy, one bolt on top and one on bottom. Well, the one on the bottom has a large nut on the backside directly where it is nearly impossible to access......

Anybody have any experience with this model and how to remove alternator? It looks like the intake is going to have to come off to get any type of wrench, socket on that nut. huge PITA....

any help would be great...

thanks
