I am the second owner that purchased this car from an executive at my client who drove this car for 220,000 highway miles and has maintained every service record (he purchased a new LX).

The car is in meticulous condition: the front two seats have been re-upholstered, and the third row seats were stored for many years in storage. The body has only one blemish on the hood (see pictures), and the truck is a single toned dark green (rare).

Since I have purchased it the truck in November 2015, I have driven the truck daily for ~7,000 miles in the last 12 months (227,000 miles), and have replaced the following:

Starter ($675 with labor)
Rack & Pinion, ignition coil, fuel injection service kit ($1,725 with labor)
Radiator ($700 with labor)
Two new tires ($550)
New battery ($125)
Steer Column replacement ($950)

All service was performed at AAA Car Care in Ballantyne and Summerfield in Waxhaw and I have invoices for everything. Regular oil changes performed as well. I have not seen a 1990s or early 2000s LX in this condition.

Asking $9,000

Sorry, the site only allows 5 pictures. Here are more pictures for your review:

1998 Lexus LX470, the upgraded Toyota Landcruiser.

My father rebuilds antique cars as a hobby and lives 5 miles down the road from me: he's looked this thing over many times over the last year prior to getting any work done in a shop (he doesnt have the lift equipment any more - as my folks have downsized - to lift the v8 engine / drivetrain). He feels the truck hums/runs better than when I bought it (he checked it out with me prior to my purchase).

The truck has never been off-roading and has been garaged since 1998 every evening. I actually haven't looked at the undercarriage and I can and try and take pictures if you'd like this evening. It's been driven in North Carolina since 1999 I believe (or 2000), as the prior owner moved from eastern PA around that time to NC.

Limited to 5 pictures per post. You can have multiple posts in the thread with 5 pictures in each post.

Thanks for the link and good luck with the sale.

Derek,

You've obviously spent a lot of money this past year on it.

In your opinion what else will it need in the near future...and perhaps I missed it, but how come you're selling it?

Also, how do the recovered front seats match with the rest of the interior?
