1998 100 series - transmission (1 Viewer)

Hi everyone,

First time to the site. I am looking for a transmission for a 1998 UJZ100L. Does anyone have any ideas where I could find one?

You could look in the classifieds, parting out, or other local classifieds, FB marketplace, etc. Rare for a transmission to go out, what issues are you having?

Thanks. Transmission is shot. Will not changed gears. I need to figure out if I will replace the trans or sell it to someone for parts or a project.

What are your symptoms?
How have you confirmed a bad transmission?
Some things can be confused for a bad transmission.

I recently had a cv axle and flange strip, and it made a terrible grinding sound and wouldn’t go forward or reverse.
It was a way cheaper and easier fix than a transmission.

How many miles on the transmission? Have you changed and topped up the fluid?
