History:
I purchased this vehicle from a private owner in Portland Oregon about 5 years ago. The vehicle spent its entire life to that point in the no-rust Pacific Northwest and it shows, there’s essentially no rust The reason we’re selling is I got a phenomenal deal on a GX470 so the LX450 has to go.
Body:
All original sheet metal, original glass (except for windshield) and paint. Paint still shines. A few unrepaired dings on front and back as shown in the pictures. Rocker panels, frame, body mounts, doors, tailgate etc. are all clean. Original running boards are starting to rust underneath, and there’s one bubble at the window line of the rear hatch that popped up about 6 months ago. I haven not repaired it yet.
Mechanical:
This has been my daily driver and family long trip vehicle for the past 5 years. Therefore, I’ve been obsessive about preventative maintenance.
Purchased new 305 65 R17 (33 x 11.5) BFG all terrains about 15,000 miles ago and put them on a set of used Toyota FJ Cruiser rims. Package fits the vehicle nicely. Tires have about 80% tread left.
New front wheel bearings, rotors, calipers, brakes, tie rod ends, birfield re-pack, shocks, factory u-joints. No excessive wear or dry or cracked rubber on any rubber parts
Engine: new factory radiator, water pump, oil pump gasket, coolant flush, fuel filter, starter, stainless exhaust downpipe and first cat, new muffler (not stainless), platinum plugs, wires, and distributor.
New fluids in both axles, transmission fluids (including pan drop and new filter) & transfer case fluids
Power steering received full fluid flush recently and now is a bit noisy when cold
New rear rotors, brake pads, shocks, air-bag helper springs installed inside factory coils to help level the truck under load (air valve in fuel door), and new factor u-joints for the rear drive shaft
A/C works
Factory alarm removed (tends to fail at inopportune times)
No coolant leaks
No engine or drivetrain issues whatsoever
Emergency brake is stiff from lack of use. All parts are there. Needs to be gone through.
Factory jack, tool kit, manual, and spare tire all where they are supposed to be. Chain hoist works well and there’s no rust on top of the spare tire.
No warning lights on dash
Center locking diff from factory but no factory lockers in front or rear differentials
Interior:
Power front drivers and passenger seats fully operational. Front seats were professionally recovered (old leather removed) with a vinyl set about 4 years ago. Look good, but lower seat is starting to crack a bit. Back seat leather is original and in reasonable shape. Third row is seating is original and in fine shape. Weathertech floor mats in front and rear. Kenwood aftermarket stereo with Bluetooth and new speakers in front. All Power windows work. Power door locks disconnected on front doors, still connected for back, because I didn’t like the auto-lock feature. Reconnection is very simple. Factory automatic climate control works. Power antenna is operational but occasionally requires a little manual assist.
