1997 LX 450 /Land Cruiser...OME 3", winch, black/tan, 33" tires... NC..SOLD!!!

Really clean rig...142k 2 owner miles...Maintained with an open checkbook...Blk, tan...3" Old Man Emu kit really sets it off...12,500 lb. Summit Racing winch (good line speed, 6.6 hp motor) with custom bracket that hides the winch from the elements/thieves....Clean look...Throttle lock for using winch... Like new 33" Bridgestone Dueler Revo's with loads of tread...Have control arm bushings, not installed (have partial fabrications)...George's LEDs, approach angle gauge, 6 disc CD....No dings, very minor scratches (can be buffed out)...Keyless entry...Ice cold AC....NO FRONT/REAR LOCKERS...Power antena does not work....Has seen a little mud, but no abuse....$11,900 and worth every penny....Clean rig that really turns heads....Email me at idealautosdirect@yahoo.com

And by the way, KBB is a dealers best friend...some are too low, most are too high...Funny how an $80 detail and a bug shield can take a rig from fair to good...then add the mods and there you have it.

People worry most about the things that mean least when buying a car...I determine value by what I can take it to the auction and sell it for tomorrow.

I realize I have come off as an ass and made a crucial no-no in relisting it here...I meant no harm, just trying to maximize profits and put some more eyes on it.

I will be glad to assist any members in the NC, SC, VA, TN, GA area in buying vehicles at wholesale...Not just LC's...Pay what I pay, plus a fee ( $399 in most cases)...No license needed, just bring cash and meet me at one of many dealer-only auctions...I am serious...Plus, I am not an ass in person.

Give it a rest. When I met Chris (whom sold you the LX) he pulled an attitude when I didn't buy. Again when I asked certian questions he wasn't truthful nor where the pics he sent. I wouldn't have drivin to Rockingham a wasted my time. The "Black Book Value" is a common usage term used throughout the car dealing world. I'M NOT A DEALER, so I DON'T CARRY AROUND said GREY BOOK. I USED WHAT IS AVAILABLE TO THE AVERAGE JOE. I don't go to auctions. You made money good for you. These posting aren't for people like you. They are for average joes. So when Chris was selling that LX for $9600 the month prior (check Charlotte Craigs List Jan 08) and you sell the LX for $11,600. Then you are looked at as being a turb. Oh Chris put on those MODS not YOU!!!!! So that is why I've chimed in on this. You are making my PTSD act up. So yes you are an ASS. Now you've push my buttons. I'll be in Charlotte for the Auto Fair, I'll look there for the USED CAR FAIRY. Maybe find You

Take a couple of deep breaths and relax...Calling bluffs is just part of what I do...you aren't the first person to get upset with a car dealer.

I never claimed you knew Black Book values...you did

Funny how you offered him $8200 (and would of done it), yet bash me for paying $8300...You were so worried about a few scratches (which came right out with a compound btw) that you lost sight of the big picture...The truck was in great shape mechanically and was easily salvageable cosmetically.

Oh, and I never claimed to put on the mods...I also said it had a sunroof and a 6 disc CD changer, but guess what? I didn't put those in either...

Good advice...Not really here to try and sell vehicles to members (their too smart!)...Again, I am here because I am a fan...I knew the seller posted here and was really just trying to see what reaction I got from my pricing...It ususally takes longer than 2 days for me to sell a vehicle.

I am at Carolina Auto Auction in Anderson every Wed if you ever want to check out a sale...Thanks for the invite btw...

Maybe I could change my handle and join up with you guys...lol
 
I didn't bash you for paying $8300 Stud. Great job flipping. This again was a info for members here. Read before you say something stupid, again. I guess usingthe used car dealer at Toyota let me use his book to evaluate the vehicle i.e. "Black Book". Sorry wrong color I mean Grey Book. IN our forum here you made it seem that you had done the MODs because a 1997 LX450 usually came w/ CD changer, but who cares, anyway. I'm done w/ this convo. I still stand by my statements and always will.
