1997 40th Edition Land Cruiser for sale

I'm selling my '97 40th edition LC. I've owned this since 2005 and have always fixed every mechanical issue. The only "needs improvement" items are all cosmetic, and it has normal corrosion underneath. The corrosion can be abated easily. Couple of dents on rear hatch and rear bumper. Paint on hood and roof have UV damage. No accidents while I've owned it.

I'm selling because I bought another '97 in better cosmetic shape. I bought the new one in Sept and debated just reselling it and keeping the original because I love it, but finally decided to let it go - I'm too lazy to manage cosmetic renovation. It's been an awesome truck and still has a great ride. It was a daily driver the first 5 years I owned it, and then a 3rd vehicle for the past 13 years. The truck recently towed a boat from VA to FL and back with no issues, and has been back/forth to OBX several times a year. The only off road activity has been on sand at the beach.

This is a great option if you are looking to do upgrade/uplift, or you just want a solid truck for the trail and not concerned if appearance is not perfect.

• July 2016 — replaced exhaust system
• June 2016 — Replaced seals around doors, sunroof, & windows

but is it triple locked?

i think i saw this truck yesterday being driven by a woman, at the 267/tollroad overpass. didnt get a good enough look so maybe not, and couldn't get my phone out fast enough to post in the spotted thread...and i wasn't in my 80.

that price does not reflect a truck with factory lockers, lol.

the truck is not triple locked, nor was it on the 267 overpass any time in recent history driven by a woman. my wife is not a fan of driving the truck.
